The Los Angeles Lakers have battled with injuries this season and this week was not any different. The Lakers have gone 1-2 in the last week, but have lost seven consecutive games at the Staples Center. All-Star weekend might be the best thing to happen for the Lakers, hopefully the rest will allow them to get somewhat healthy. While it might be a tough time to be a Laker fan, you cannot question their effort.

10. It was his birthday, he deserved it.

Steve Nash had 19 points, 5 assists and 4 boards tonight in Lakers win. It was his 40th birthday. Good to see Nash back on the court again!

9. Wishful thinking.

@LakersNation I begged to differ pic.twitter.com/wvmOlFVpn1

8. Back to reality.

@LakersNation Went to a Steve Javie interview and a Lakers game broke out!

7. This is what an injured team looks like.

Yep! ITS SAD RT @LakersNation: There are more dudes in suits on the Laker bench than in uniform. Good grief pic.twitter.com/PZVwa5QDRw

6. Southern Hospitality.

What do Ludacris and the @Lakers have in common? They're both coming for that number one spot! @LakersNation

— Shepherd of Fire (@Lakers4REVer) February 9, 2014

5. Moral victories.

I'm not even mad that the @Lakers lost I'm proud to say my team with all the injuries keep fighting when most teams give up @LakersNation

— ricardo soto (@7RSoto4) February 9, 2014

4. Thinking ahead.

@LakersNation Yeah, I want the Lakers to play in close, exciting games, but lose.

— Vahan Shakhpazyan (@NBA_VahanShak) February 11, 2014

3. It has gotten that bad?

This Lakers-Jazz game feels more suited to Ontario in October than Staples Center in February.

— Ben Bolch (@latbbolch) February 12, 2014

2. He has got a point.

Time to remove "tanking" as a term associated with the Lakers. They're losing because they're bad, not because they're trying to.

— Ross Gasmer (@Ross_Gasmer12) February 12, 2014

1. It will get better Laker fans.

@LakersNation But it'll be sooooo sweet in a couple of years. #inmitchwetrust
