The Lakers have been struggling this week and that is putting it nicely. They have lost five games in a row and their injured key players might not be returning any time soon.  The Lakers lost to the two best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat, which is expected.

Given the injury situation, head coach Mike D’Antoni has done an impressive job so far, but this season has been painful to watch. At this point, most Lakers’ fans are looking towards the future and hopefully the Lakers are lucky enough to land a high lottery pick.

Check it all out in our top 10 tweets of the week.

1. I think Greg Oden checked into the game.

Why is LeBron James’s dad in the game?

— Angry Lakers Fan (@AngryLakersFan) January 24, 2014

2. Maybe Mike D’Antoni isn’t the problem after all.

That this Lakers roster isn’t down 40 in every game is a testament to D’Antoni. Yeesh.

— Hardwood Paroxysm (@HPbasketball) January 24, 2014

3. The third quarter has not been nice to the Lakers.

Don’t worry guys. The Lakers have always been known for their classic 3rd quarters.

— Marta O. (@LakersandElves) January 24, 2014

4. At least the Lakers’ future looks good on NBA 2K14.

In my nba 2k. The lakers are 10-4 after their tank season, got 4th pick overall and had a good offseason @LakersNation we can only hope Haha

— John White (@RealJohnWhite) January 24, 2014

5. It has been that kind of season.

I’M TWEETING FROM MY GRAVE…THE LAKERS KILLED ME

— Drunk Lakers Fan (@DrunkLakersFan) January 25, 2014

6. Would it be smart for the Lakers to get Marcus Smart?

@LakersNation I pray we get Marcus Smart. That would be the best decision the lakers have made in a while

— Ezra (@YouPhilMe_) January 25, 2014

7. A new 30 for 30 coming to a television near you.

“@danielbuergeLA: There will have to be an ESPN @30for30 on #BasketballReasons. Changed the course of NBA history in so many ways.”

— Raul Juarez (@junii_33) January 25, 2014

8. Keep your head up Laker fans.

Despite all of this…It’s still better than last year’s season. pic.twitter.com/2fhIMZsC6N

— Marta O. (@LakersandElves) January 26, 2014

9. Good effort Lakers. The Pacers are just too good.

The Lakers hung in longer than I thought tonight. Too much talent for Indiana

— JJ Baccari (@JJBACCARI) January 29, 2014

10. When is the NBA lottery again?

#Lakers now with a West leading 30 losses! #MarchToTheLottery

— Angry Lakers Fan (@AngryLakersFan) January 29, 2014
