LakersNation.com’s Jabari Davis was joined by Jamieson Welsh (Fox Sports Radio) and Jordan Buscarini (Castle Country Radio) once again for this week’s episode. The three of them intended to discuss Kobe Bryant’s sudden resurgence and whether we should be concerned about his sore shoulder, but the conversation ended up centering around General Manager Mitch Kupchak’s recent comments about the organization’s preference to develop the young core in an effort to attract potential free agents.

They continued the conversation by diving into the potential negative impact of continuing to limit the playing time, roles and responsibilities of D’Angelo Russell, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson. The trio also discussed this week’s LakersNation.com Roundtable Question (by Corey Hansford): has Roy Hibbert played up to the level we expected? While the 7’2 big man can’t possibly be expected to erase all of this team’s defensive issues, some of the panel may have anticipated a bit more productivity and effort being that he is in a contract year.
