Lakers Nation Week In Review: Dec. 22 – Dec. 29

Kobe Bryant Carmelo AnthonyThe Los Angeles Lakers had a busy four-game week, but fortunately for fans, the team went 3-1 in the past seven days. Los Angeles is slowly getting back on track and it seems as though the players are beginning to find their niches in the offense.

The Lakers have a healthy roster with an exception of a few bumps and bruises, meaning there should be no excuses from here on out.

It was a hectic week and here is a look back at the past seven days.

Lakers Nation Game Recaps:

In Steve Nash’s first game back since knee injury, the Lakers had a date with the surprising Golden State Warriors. Nash played heavy minutes in the game, and the match ended up going into overtime. Luckily for the Lakers, the veteran stars pulled out a narrow 118-115 win.

The Lakers played on Christmas Day once again and this time they matched up with the New York Knicks. The Knicks already beat the Lakers in New York City, but on this holiday, Kobe and company got revenge, 100-94.

Los Angeles headed into its game versus the Denver Nuggets on a five-game winning streak, but that came crashing down after an embarrassing loss to the Denver Nuggets. Dwight Howard ended up getting ejected out of the game and the Lakers walked off the court losers, 126-114.

The Lakers got back to their winning ways when the Portland Trail Blazers came into town. The stars dominated for the Lakers, and the team cruised to a 104-87 win.
