Lakers Nation Wishes a Happy 24th Birthday to Andrew Bynum

A very happy birthday to Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum, who turns 24 years-old today. Bynum has been an integral part of two Lakers championship teams, and has developed into one of the top young centers in the Western Conference.

Bynum was the 10th overall pick by the Lakers in the 2005 NBA Draft, and has faced his fair share of success as well as struggles during his stint with the Lakers.

After suffering a debilitating injury that kept him out of the 2008 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, Bynum came back strong to help Los Angeles win back to back championships in 2009 and 2010.

In honor of Bynum’s birthday we will leave you with a video of a young Bynum taking on then-Miami Heat center Shaquille O’Neal, in one of the most exciting moments of Bynum’s early career.
