Today, November 30th, is Jordan Farmar’s 27th birthday and we here at Lakers Nation wish him the best on this day.

Farmar is currently in his second stint with the Lakers and the guard has returned as a better, more mature point guard. Farmar won two titles with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010, but his role on the team has increased this time around.

Over the past few games, Farmar has been very effective for the Lakers on both ends of the court and his play is something the coaching staff cannot replace. With Steve Nash no longer in the lineup, Farmar is closing out games for the Lakers and someone the team relies on late in fourth quarters.

This season, Farmar has averaged 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. The 27-year old point guard is getting better each and everyday and he will be someone the team will count even when Kobe Bryant returns.
