Lakers News And Rumors: Kobe Slows Conditioning To Heal Achilles

NBA: Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles LakersIf we had to use one word to describe Kobe Bryant, not many people would use the word patient. But that is exactly what Bryant is being when it comes down to his Achilles injury. Throughout Bryant’s career he has played through countless injuries and set them aside as if nothing was bothering him, even a recent GM poll stated that Bryant was the toughest person in the NBA.

Recently Bryant has upped his workout tremendously in China, but has learned to scale back on his Achilles to let it heal properly. During a recent interview, Kobe’s face was visibly frustrated that he wouldn’t be on the court with his guys for a little while longer, but a more mature Bryant has learned to take time and relax to let this serious injury heal and try to become as close to 100 percent as possible.

Kobe says he “cranked it up in China” but has scaled back since to let his Achilles continue to heal.

No one knows Bryant’s body better than himself, and only he knows whether he will be ready for the season. In the meantime Bryant is racking up motivation from all the doubters and analysts alike to come back stronger than ever.
