After sustaining an injury in Friday night’s loss to the Washington Wizards at the Staples Center, Laker forward Antawn Jamison learned today that he suffered a slight tear in his right wrist. He left Friday’s game and didn’t return.

Now, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles, Jamison will still suit up for the Lakers in their next game, Monday against the Warriors.

Source says Jamison has a slight tear in wrist but he’s “going to gut it out”

This is good news for the Lakers, who just got Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol back on Friday from injuries of their own. While the team is still awaiting the return of Jordan Hill, having Jamison sidelined, who has been playing very well over the course of the last month, would be a major blow to the team’s playoff chances.

Jamison is averaging 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 21.7 minutes this season.
