Heading into its second season as the home of the Los Angeles Lakers, Time Warner Cable Sportsnet is looking to expand its list of excellent Laker analysts, and it has done so with the addition of two former Lakers.
Byron Scott and Luke Walton will join Robert Horry and James Worthy as studio TV analysts this season:
Luke Walton and Byron Scott are joining @TWCSportsNet as Lakers studio TV analysts. Luuuke!

Both Scott and Walton spent last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Walton averaged 3.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 50 games with the Cavs last season. Scott coached the team for three seasons accumulating a 64-166 record over that time before being fired at the conclusion of last season.
Scott and Walton’s debuts on the channel have both been set as well:
Byron will debut Sunday night, Luke on Tuesday night. They join @James_Worthy42 and @RKHorry in @TWCSportsNet Lakers game studio rotation.

The addition of Scott and Walton gives TWC Sportsnet a diverse set of analysts to shuffle in and out of games this season. Scott brings the coaching dynamic that the others don’t have, while Walton was a member of the last two championship teams and has that experience as well.
Altogether, having this many options will go a long way towards helping improve the quality of the in-game broadcasts.
