Byron Scott has said that he would consider making changes to the starting lineup soon, and he has already done so once this season.

The time has come for another change, especially with Kobe Bryant out for the forseeable future. According to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell, the new lineup will have some fresh faces:

New Lakers line up tonight: Jordan Clarkson, Wayne Ellington, Ryan Kelly, Jordan Hill and Robert Sacre. Scott wants to see what he has.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) January 24, 2015

This is definitely a new and interesting look. Many have called for Scott to give the second-round pick Clarkson a chance as he has shown that he has the potential to be a long-term piece for the team. Clarkson was also born in San Antonio so he will get to make his first career start in his hometown.

Ryan Kelly struggled with injuries to begin the season, and has been in and out of the rotation since returning. He did start 25 games last season however, and brings shooting and good basketball IQ to the lineup.

Ellington and Sacre have both had their share of starts throughout their time in the NBA, but get another chance to show what they can do.

It will be interesting to see how Scott uses his bench minutes. Ed Davis, Carlos Boozer, and Nick Young are sure to get their minutes. Seeing whether Jeremy Lin or Ronnie Price is the first point guard off the bench will be something worth watching.
