With the Los Angeles Lakers officially eliminated from playoff contention recently, the focus for the franchise is developing their young prospects and the off-season.

With less than 20 games remaining in the season, head coach Byron Scott plans to make another starting lineup change. According to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News, Scott plans to start Jeremy Lin and bring Jordan Clarkson off the bench in the final 10 games of the season:

In the first 20 games of the season, Lin started alongside Kobe Bryant, but was eventually moved to the bench in favor of Ronnie Price and Jordan Clarkson. While Lin was inconsistent for most of the season, he has played well since the All-Star break.

With the Lakers looking to develop their young prospects, Clarkson has responded since becoming the starting point guard. In 21 games, Clarkson is averaging 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 30.2 minutes.
