NBA: Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles LakersKobe Bryant was at his annual basketball camp at Santa Barbara this afternoon and held a press conference to discuss all things pertaining to Dwight Howard and his recovery from Achilles surgery.

Kobe has posted several Instagram pictures and videos while at the doctors office and even on the court as he tries to become the next Adrian Peterson or RG3 in recovering from a serious injury.

Incredibly enough, Bryant said at his camp that he expects to get back to full activities in August and according to Dr. Robert Klapper, he expects Bryant on the floor for opening night:

KOBE to be at full activity in 4 weeks. That means no restrictions but later stages of tendon recovery still remain. Will see him at Game 1.

Earlier in the summer, Bryant said on the radio that he realistically believed he’d be ready for game action in November or December, but it sounds like he’s well ahead of schedule.
