The Los Angeles Lakers may have suffered another costly blow to their roster due to injury with second-year guard Jordan Clarkson going down with a shoulder injury against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
According to Bill Oram of the OC Register, Clarkson suffered a sprained right shoulder in the first half against the Warriors and will not return.
Jordan Clarkson suffered a sprained right shoulder and won't return. Will be reevaluated tomorrow.

The Lakers coaching staff has been extremely cautious with their players throughout training camp and the preseason. Kobe Bryant, D’Angelo Russell, Brandon Bass, Lou Williams and Marcelo Huertas all dealt with injuries over the last few weeks and had missed time as a result.
Clarkson is another big-name added the list of banged up players, but the shoulder injury may not be a serious issue. There’s no reason to get Clarkson back floor on Thursday, but rather continue with the cautious approach and hope for the best when he’s reevaluated tomorrow.
