Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Out Monday Night vs. Phoenix Suns

After attempting to play on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers and sitting out the final three quarters of the game, Kobe Bryant didn’t play at all on Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers are 2-0 in these games, and they will have to play without his services again on Monday.

According to Kevin Ding of the O.C. Register, Bryant will once again be on the bench again tonight when the Lakers face the Suns in Phoenix.

With Bryant on the bench, Jodie Meeks will most likely get the starting nod again tonight.

Without Bryant, the Lakers have seen big contributions from Antawn Jamison and Steve Blake.

Bryant will be re-evaluated and his status for Friday’s game against the Wizards will be determined closer to game time.
