Ever since Kobe Bryant began practicing again, people have been wondering when he will make his return to the floor for the Lakers. With Bryant recently signing his two-year contract extension, people are even more anxious for him to get back on the court.

While many are hoping that Bryant comes back by the end of November, that is looking unlikely as Bryant spoke to the media Tuesday before the Lakers game against the Washington Wizards:

This doesn’t give any concrete indication on when Bryant will return but it does give us hope that it will be soon. When looking at the schedule, there are numerous possibilities on what the exact date could be.

After their game this Sunday, the Lakers don’t play again until Friday December 6 against the Sacramento Kings. Those days of practice could give Bryant the last bit of practice and conditioning needed to make his return. Of course, many believe Bryant wants to make his return at Staples Center. If that is the case, then December 8 against the Raptors or December 10 against the Suns would be great choices for a return.

Whenever Bryant comes back, expect him to return with a bang as he is no doubt hearing all of the doubters who think he can’t play at the same level. Bryant should not return until he is 100 percent certain he is ready, and by taking his time now, he is ensuring that will be the case.
