For a long time, LaVar Ball has been calling his shots in regards to his son, Lonzo Ball, all while building up the Big Baller Brand. But just because Lonzo has been drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, that doesn’t mean things are slowing down.
WWE Monday Night Raw was in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, and Lonzo, LaVar, and LaMelo Ball weren’t just in attendance, they were part of the show.
It was a match made in heaven as LaVar strutted in with LaMelo before running down the ramp and into the ring for his interview segment with WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz.
First and foremost, LaVar made sure to give Lonzo a grand introduction into Staples Center:

LaVar then proceeded back and forth on the mic with The Miz before instructing LaMelo to ‘handle his light work,’ but when Miz insisted that he wanted LaVar, the patriarch of the family removed his shirt ready to brawl. The moment itself was captured by Steve Noah of Operation Sports:

Thankfully WWE superstar Dean Ambrose came down to interrupt before any physicality ensued, but that didn’t stop LaVar from dancing around the ring shirtless, much to the delight of both Lonzo and LaMelo.
The segment itself was obviously designed to promote the Big Baller Brand as there were numerous mannequins with BBB shirts in the ring and the primary source of the argument between LaVar and The Miz was over a proposed ‘partnership’ between the man known as ‘The A-Lister’ in WWE and the Big Baller Brand.
Furthermore, Ambrose, a former WWE champion and one of the most popular superstars on Raw, came out sporting a BBB shirt and would wrestle in it in the ensuing match that took place.
Overall it was a ridiculous, but fun segment and exactly what is to be expected from anything involving LaVar and the WWE. Some may not care for his methods, but the people continue to talk about Lonzo, LaVar, and the Big Baller Brand, which is exactly what they want.
