The Los Angeles Lakers star trio of Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James is arguably the best in the entire NBA. Doncic and Reaves are the highest-scoring duo in the league and with James beginning to round into form after missing the beginning of the season due to injury, the Lakers can go toe-to-toe with any team in the league on any given night.
The Lakers’ strong start to the season is proof of just how effective this group has been and with the Lakers being one of the most well-known brands in sports around the world, the popularity of anyone wearing the purple and gold always seems to grow exponentially.
The NBA revealed the top 10 most viewed players across their social media platforms and it should come as no surprise that Doncic is atop the list. James being fourth is also expected, but Reaves has also cracked the list as well, coming in at seventh:
Here’s a look at the 10 most-viewed players across @NBA social media platforms this season, nine of whom will be featured on Christmas Day. The action begins Thursday, Dec. 25 at noon ET on ABC and ESPN. pic.twitter.com/1Ob2zdg83x

The list is a who’s who of NBA stars, though Luka is far and away the leader. The NBA’s leading scorer who also ranks fourth in assists, Doncic comes in at nearly 140 million more views than San Antonio Spurs phenom Victor Wembanyamal who is second on the list. Stephen Curry at third and reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rounding out the top- five are also par for the course.
Reaves being at seventh just behind Nikola Jokic is truly unreal and shows just how amazing the guard has been this season. He is averaging career-highs across the board and is likely to make his first All-Star appearance this year as well. It should be noted that James being that high on the list while missing more than half the season so far just shows the reach he has.
Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant, Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo round out the rest of the list.
Lakers’ JJ Redick always believed Austin Reaves could be All-Star
Reaves has been one of the biggest breakout stars in the entire NBA and is a major reason the Lakers are where they’re at in the standings. And head coach JJ Redick has always believed he could play at this All-Star level.
