The first divisional matchup of the season against the Phoenix Suns will take place Friday night at the Staples Center for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Although Steve Nash has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game against his former team with a leg injury, the Lakers might get Steve Blake back in the lineup after being listed as a game-time decision according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com via Twitter:

* @steveblake5 says he’s a “game time decision” for tomorrow. He hasn’t really tested the abdominal area yet.

In place of Nash and Blake, second-year point guard Darius Morris was given the nod as the starter in the backcourt for the Lakers against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. Morris failed to make an impression in his first NBA start missing all five shots, dishing out one assist along with one point and two rebounds in 21 minutes on the floor.

Veteran Chris Duhon had a much better performance against the Spurs with five points, three assists and two rebounds off the bench.
