Lakers News: Team Announces Schedule For Hollywood Nights Jerseys

hollywoodBefore the 2013-14 NBA season got underway, the Los Angeles Lakers announced they’ll be wearing black jerseys at certain dates throughout the season.

The new jerseys are called Hollywood Nights and will give the Lakers a different look for six different games this season. The new jerseys got a good reception from Lakers fans after the first pictures surfaced, but the schedule of games played in the black jerseys wasn’t announced until this week.

On Thursday, the Lakers released the official schedule for Hollywood Nights with the first game being against the Brooklyn Nets on the road on Nov. 27.

Here’s the full schedule for Hollywood Nights via the Los Angeles Lakers Twitter account:

Even though the Lakers will be facing two potential top tier teams during these Hollywood Nights games, the rest of the schedule will be against arguably some of the worst teams in the league.

Ironically enough, the Lakers’ Christmas Day jerseys also surfaced this week with the NBA releasing a commercial in promotion of the holiday game. Steve Nash appeared in the commercial wearing the Christmas Day Lakers jersey along with Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, James Harden and LeBron James.
