Lakers News: Team Prepared To Call Up D-League’s Andrew Goudelock

After Kobe went down with an Achilles injury against the Warriors on Friday, the Lakers suddenly need somebody to replace him on the court. While they won’t be able to replace Bryant’s production on the court, they will still need some backup help with Kobe out of the lineup.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Lakers might be looking to Andrew Goudelock once again.

Goudelock was drafted by the Lakers with the 46th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He played a season and a half with the Lakers before the team cut him halfway through this season.

Since then he has been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League.
