With only a handful of games left, the Lakers have started sliming down the roster. The first two players to be waived were announced on Monday, according to Lakers.com:

The Los Angeles Lakers have waived guard Keith Appling and center Jeremy Tyler, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak.

The ultimate goal is to get the roster down to 15 players before the start of the season. Keith Appling and Jeremy Tyler were two of four players invited to camp. Roscoe Smith and Jabari Brown are the only camp invitees left on the roster.

Wayne Ellington and Ronnie Price are also players that are eligible to get cut with both players having non-guaranteed deals. Price appears to have earned his roster spot while Ellington has struggled shooting, but may potentially make the team since the backcourt lacks depth.
