Panini Trading Cards released a new ad with Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram as one of the key stars. Ingram, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 draft, is one of six rookies to appear in the commercial. The others being Kris Dunn (T’Wolves), Marquese Chriss (Suns), Buddy Hield (Pelicans), Thon Maker (Bucks) and Jaylen Brown (Celtics).

The 60-second video, dubbed “Shorty,” focuses on a middle school age kid who is just discovering his love for the game of basketball. The video cuts between the boy and six rookies as he dribbles and shoots against friends.

Panini became the official trading card of the NBA in January 2016 and endured massive success last season. Here’s more from them:

Panini’s NBA rookies last year outperformed its NFL first-year players; and, there’s a trend of younger collectors toward basketball. Looking at the Beckett’s price guide, same product/same price point, the two top-selling NFL rookie cards last season were Marcus Mariota and Todd Gurley ($500; $400). In comparison, the two top-selling NBA rookie cards were Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingas ($3,500; $2,000).
