The Los Angeles Lakers may have added talented players to their roster this summer, but the front office also has to improve the coaching staff in order to win a championship. Los Angeles hired a new head coach before the 2011-12 season, and they are now in the process of giving Mike Brown knowledgeable assistant coaches.

According to the latest rumors, former NBA head coach Eddie Jordan is expected to become the Lakers’ next assistant coach. Jordan is remembered most for his tenure with the Washington Wizards where he made the post-season on four separate occasions.

Latest NBA buzz says Lindsey Hunter likely on way to Magic as assistant coach and Eddie Jordan to Lakers in same role.

Jordan began his head coaching career in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, and he last ran the sidelines for the Philadelphia 76ers. Throughout his career, Jordan has a 42% winning percentage and will be a nice addition to this Lakers team as it tries to get back to the NBA Finals.
