So, if you’re one of those tweeters the kids know about these days, you probably heard about Kobe Bryant taking over Nike Basketball’s account for the last 72 hours or so. He created some hashtags, showed a picture of him on a skateboard, and put out a twitpic of his legs in an ice bath. You know, typical Kobe things.

Anyways, during his stint on the Nike Twitter account, Kobe hinted at possibly joining the social networking platform full time.

@sparkofkindness I’m seriously thinking about starting my own. I enjoy this connection with no filters

I’m sure this would be a lovely way to watch the twittersphere explode.

Personally, I love the idea of Kobe having complete control over a Twitter account. Can you imagine the possibilities?

“Just cruisin’ in the Mamba Chopper. Smush Parker’s my driver.”

“Anybody seen Sasha Vujacic? No? Good.”

“Do you think it’s possible to get more shot attempts than characters in a tweet? Mamba out.”

I mean, really, how great would that be?

So, from one professional to another – Kobe, do the right thing and get on Twitter.

*Thanks to Kevin Ding for the heads up on the included tweet.
