The Lakers are ‘unlikely’ to make moves before the trade deadline, but another point guard has emerged. According to ESPN’s Chris Broussard, Los Angeles is also interested in Ty Lawson of the Denver Nuggets:

Heading into the trade deadline, the Nuggets were expected to be the most active team as they are currently 20-33 and looking to make some much needed changes. While there have been rumors about Wilson Chandler and Arron Afflalo being traded, Lawson’s name has been mentioned as a possibility for the Boston Celtics and Sacramento Kings.
After missing the first practice for the Nuggets since the All-Star break, it has been reported that Denver is looking to acquire George Hill from the Indiana Pacers to reunite him with head coach Brian Shaw.
In 51 games for the Nuggets, Lawson is averaging 16.9 points and 10.1 assists in 37.0 minutes.
