As he continues to recover from a broken bone in his hand, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Josh Hart has had to find different things to take up his time since he can’t help his team on the court.
As such, Hart was a guest analyst for Spectrum SportsNet during the team’s game on Monday against the Indiana Pacers. That came after he appeared on ESPN’s SportsNation earlier in the afternoon.
Hart showed off his knowledge of the team and basketball in general as he made some excellent points before, during, and after the Lakers loss. But it was his jokes that ultimately stole the show, and teammate Brook Lopez was on the receiving end.
During the postgame show, Hart gave an impression of Lopez arguing for a foul call and he made the entire crew burst with laughter via Spectrum SportsNet:

Hart definitely has the voice down as Lopez has a very distinct sound as a seven-footer. The big man has been seen often arguing for calls to no avail so Hart certainly knows what he is talking about.
Despite being the subject of jokes, Lopez’s play recently has been anything but that. He had 23 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks in Monday’s loss and the month of March has been his best this year as he is averaging 19.4 points and 1.7 blocks while shooting 57.4 percent from the field.
Hart, meanwhile, is just hoping to get back and help his team as soon as possible. He said that his goal is to make his return on March 30 when the Lakers face the Milwaukee Bucks which lines up perfect with the four-to-six week timetable given at the time of his injury. But until that time comes, no one will complain if he’s got a couple more impressions of teammates to bust out.
