Between Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma, the Los Angeles Lakers have one of the most talented young cores in the entire NBA. The trio might also have some of the best chemistry of any group of players, too.
The friendship growing between the three, and especially Kuzma and Ball, is obvious as they tease each other on their Instagram and Snapchat stories for what they wear and have each others’ backs on the court.
The latest example of their growing bond came on social media as well, where the Lakers official Twitter account shared snippets of the threes’ Instagram stories.
While enjoying a night out at the movies, Kuzma and Ball made fun of Ingram’s frame and its similarity to a movie, while Ball then mocked Kuzma’s propensity for wearing sweats everywhere:
While at the theatre we also learned about what Kuz wears on a night out, the new movie B.I. is in, and said goodbye to a famous fleece. ???? pic.twitter.com/cfYgMDobu1

It might be hilarious to watch those three bond, but it’s also meaningful for the team’s future. The Lakers might be chasing numerous stars in free agency this summer, but if the team truly wants to reach their peak, they’ll need Ball, Kuzma and Ingram to blossom on the court.
And if those three manage to do so, the Lakers will need them to bond and enjoy playing alongside each other so that they want to stay together rather than grow apart due to squabbles over minutes, touches or role with the team.
The Lakers have seen what happens when they have superstars that don’t get along (Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Bryant, etc.). Luckily for them, the current group the front office banking on getting to that level seem to be building real, meaningful relationships.
