Lakers Video: Shaquille O’Neal Takes Jab At Big Baller Brand With Blinking Shoes

The Los Angeles Lakers have had many characters throughout their illustrious franchise history. However, perhaps no personality has stuck out more than Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal. The four-time champion has demonstrated his larger-than-life personality countless times, with a comedic timing that knows no bounds.

O’Neal has done many hilarious antics throughout his 19-year career, running away with the title as the most hilarious player in the National Basketball Association. Although O’Neal is viewed by many as the most dominant force in the history of basketball, he was always able to show a lighter side when in a comfortable setting and with his teammates.

Recently, Shaq has gotten into a bit of a verbal spat with LaVar Ball, father of Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball. Shaq even challenged LaVar and youngest son LaMelo to a game of 2-on-2 against himself and his son Shareef. Now O’Neal has taken another jab at LaVar and the Big Baller Brand via his Instagram:

The video itself is harmless enough with Shaq showing off his dance moves in a pair of light-up shoes. But the Hall of Famer couldn’t help himself by including the hashtag ‘Shaq shoes the real Big Baller Brand.’

O’Neal is participating in a white clothing party, including a stylish white fedora to pair with the flashing shoes. The 45-year-old took the dance floor and used his stellar dance moves to create quite the attraction, seemingly always turning into the life of the party.

This isn’t the first time O’Neal has gotten creative with his shoes, when taking a look back at his previous All-Star antics. During the 2005 All-Star Game, O’Neal had a pair of shoes that also worked as a telephone. He presented this shoe to fellow All-Star Allen Iverson, who couldn’t believe it when he heard noises coming from the shoe.

Whether or not the drama between Shaq and LaVar Ball continues is anyone’s guess. With this being a more subtle shot, it is very possible it gets swept under the rug.
