With ample cap room heading into this summer for the Los Angeles Lakers, the biggest free agent potentially available will be LeBron James. While all 30 teams hope he will take his talents to their city in July, it appears that LeBron will remain in Miami.

In an exclusive interview with NBA TV, James discussed numerous topics including his future. While his focus is on winning his third consecutive championship, the four-time MVP can’t see himself leaving Miami at this point:

“At this point, I can’t. We don’t know what can happen from now to July, so what I’ve been able to do this whole season to this point is just worry about what’s at hand and that’s winning another championship. And hopefully at the end of this year I can put myself in a position where I can hold that Larry O’Brien Trophy up once again and then I will assess what I have to do with my future after that.”

Considering the success he has had in a Heat uniform, it is highly unlikely that James will want to leave Miami. However, he did leave his options open by stating that he doesn’t know what will happen from now to July.

With Dwyane Wade struggling with injuries and Chris Bosh likely looking for a max-contract, these situations can affect LeBron’s decision. While there is still five months until free agency begins, the speculation will continue. James has already been linked to returning to Cleveland to join Kyrie Irving and the Lakers are another possible destination.

In his 11th season, James is averaging 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists.
