When this comes to the Lakers, use either a projection-based or market-based system. However, either method requires knowing a little about the players and the current team lineup.
Cam Reddish
A standout player for Duke University a few seasons ago, Reddish was originally brought in during the off-season. However, since then, he’s shown excellent versatility and some serious potential. He’s good at making an impact on different facets of the game and is looking like a potential high-point scorer in the future. With some good defensive skills and the ability to disrupt his opponents, he’s one to watch in the coming seasons.
LeBron James
No Lakers list would be complete without LeBron James on it. Arguably one of the most iconic basketball players, he is the key to many championships for this team. However, he is now 40 and likely to be slowing down. Despite his age, though, he’s always hard to get past, and over the last season, he still managed to score, and he scored big. It’s not just scoring where he’s a useful player, though. He’s great as a playmaker and rebounder, too.
Rui Hachimura
This breakout player from the 2023-24 season has been an excellent addition to the Lakers team. Hachimura is a whopping 6’8″, which makes him almost unstoppable in some situations. He’s powerful and confident when it comes to scoring, too, and playing alongside LeBron James is likely only going to help improve him. He has diverse offensive skills that also include the ability to attack the rim, make three-pointers, and make mid-range jumpers.
Luka Doncic
The latest star of the Lakers franchise, Doncic, is looking to work well alongside James. As Doncic is new to the team, it will be interesting to see how he settles in as the point guard for the team. But we all know he has exceptional skills to fit just fine and bring a new type of gameplay to the team.
