Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Atlanta Hawks Postgame (videos)

The Los Angeles Lakers dropped to 11-51 on Friday night, losing to the Atlanta Hawks, 106-77. Without Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams and Kobe Bryant, the Lakers struggled to pick up the slack offensively and were outscored in transition 27-2.

After four consecutive 20+ games from D’Angelo Russell, the rookie struggled against the Hawks, hitting just 3 of his 16 shots, finishing with seven points and five assists. Head coach Scott stood up for Russell after the game, and chalked it up to just an off shooting night.

Scott was hoping to get more out of Nick Young, though, who finished just 1-9 with five points, in his first start of the season. After the game, Young had some perspective to share about Russell and why he shouldn’t stop celebrating. Plus, Larry Nance Jr. talks about his knee and how he feels moving forward.
