Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics Postgame (VIDEOS)

The Boston Celtics smacked the Los Angeles Lakers 115-95 on Friday night, who were up by as many as 31 points in the third quarter. Fourth quarter king Isaiah Thomas didn’t even have to play any minutes in the final quarter. He did, however, throw a lob off the backboard to Jaylen Brown for the dunk on the Lakers home floor, something head coach Luke Walton admitted his frustrations to, after the game.

Even rookie Brandon Ingram said Thomas’ backboard lob was flatout embarrassing. Speaking of Ingram, he finished with zero points, four rebounds, two assists and five personal fouls, attempting his first field goal at the four minute mark in the fourth quarter.

Lakers newcomer David Nwaba did have a solid showing in just his second NBA game, providing a boost of energy off the bench and some defensive intensity, which L.A. lacked from the start. Nwaba finished with seven points and two rebounds in his 20 minutes of playing time.

Walton discusses his message to the team and where he needs his teams focus for this final stretch of games.
