Head coach Byron Scott will continue to evaluate the players on the squad by mixing things up with Ed Davis not expected to play and Jordan Hill back in the rotation. Jeremy Lin also out for this game with an upper respiratory infection.

Check out the highlights provided by Time Warner Cable SportsNet below:

Wow, this game is off to a terrible start #ugly #lakers #nets

— Shahan Ahmed (@shahanLA) March 29, 2015

Slow & messy start to this Lakers vs. Nets game, 3 Laker turnovers, 0 points and we're almost 3 minutes in.

— Serena Winters (@SerenaWinters) March 29, 2015

Brooklyn has an early 13-9 lead behind 7 points from Deron Williams and 3 LAL turnovers for this afternoon game.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Jordan Clarkson, who's averaging 14.9 ppg, 4.4 apg, 4.4 rpg on since the break on 47.2% FG’s, is 3 for 4 for 6 early points. LAL down 17-11.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Lakers can't keep guards out of the lane and don't have the size to deal w/ Lopez/Plumlee. Not a good combination defensively.

— Darius Soriano (@forumbluegold) March 29, 2015

ROBERT SACRE WITH THE ALLEY-OOP TO RYAN KELLY. LOLOLOL.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Now Sacre hits a fadeaway 17 footer from the baseline over Lopez. Expecting Wes Johnson to dunk from the 3 point line next.

— Darius Soriano (@forumbluegold) March 29, 2015

Welcome back, Jordan Hill.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Jabari Brown getting some looks at the point with Jeremy Lin out

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) March 29, 2015

East is terrible. Nets are 31-40 and are half a game from the eighth seed.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Nets up 30-19 after a quarter – Lakers look out-matched early

— Eric Pincus (@EricPincus) March 29, 2015

Lionel Hollins has yet to give Brook Lopez a rest. 13 minutes and counting. Nets' lead is 30-21 after Clarkson's 4th FG make in 6 attempts.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Wes Johnson trying to get that next contract these last couple of weeks. Been gunning more offensively, playing more assertively on defense.

— Darius Soriano (@forumbluegold) March 29, 2015

Lakers finally get a fast-break bucket, and it’s a huge one as Jabari Brown soars for the transition dunk.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 29, 2015

Jordan Clarkson to Jabari Brown for the open court dunk as Lakers trail 30-24 with 9:52 left in first half.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

A strong move inside from Jabari Brown, through two Nets, got him quickly to 8 bench points. Fellow Mizzou product Clarkson has 8 as well.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Jordan Hill has 8 boards already (plus seven points) in his 10 minutes. Ed Davis is sitting w/Hill back in the rotation.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Wesley Johnson is attacking the rim today. A LOT

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) March 29, 2015

One possession: Wesley Johnson attacks the rim & throws down a two-handed dunk. Next possession: Johnson airballs a 3

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) March 29, 2015

Lakers down 7 with a couple minutes to play in the first half. Lots of points out there today.

— Shahan Ahmed (@shahanLA) March 29, 2015

Brooklyn's lead is 59-50 after Joe Johnson answered Tarik Black's second bucket in the paint, with a minute to play in the 1st half.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Lakers end the second quarter, once again down 11, 61-50. Lakers have already given up 40 points in the paint to the Nets.

— Serena Winters (@SerenaWinters) March 29, 2015

Good second quarter offensively for the Lakers with 31 points – give up 31 points – still down 11 to Nets (61-50)

— Eric Pincus (@EricPincus) March 29, 2015

Second half is underway. #Lakers

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

LAL started the 3rd Q on a 7-0 run, with Clarkson hitting a 3, Johnson hammering home a follow dunk plus hitting a short j. 61-57, BKN.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

WES JOHNSON WITH THE PUTBACK DUNK. MY GOODNESS.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Lakers with the full-court pressure that results in the Nets getting the ball in the paint. Excellent execution there.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Wesley Johnson is having a highlight reel of a game. Clarkson throws him a lob for his fourth dunk of the day. Lakers trail 73-63.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 29, 2015

A tough layup, then an assist, have Clarkson up to 14 points with 5 assists, though Joe Johnson's 2nd 3 kept BKN up 10 late in the 3rd.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Jordan Hill (14 points, 10 rebounds) reaches his 22nd double-double of the season in just 14 minutes.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 29, 2015

After Jordan Clarkson's free throws, Lakers trail 94-89 with 5:30 left.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Lakers still hanging around

— Eric Pincus (@EricPincus) March 29, 2015

On Barclays Center scoreboard, the Beastie Boys' Mike D tells fans to make some noise. Arena then plays "No Sleep till Brooklyn." AWESOME

— Mark Medina (@MarkG_Medina) March 29, 2015

Joe Johnson's corner 3 gave BKN some breathing room at 101-93 with 1:45 to play. He's up to 18 points with 7 boards and 7 assists.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Tarik Black responds with a layup, but Lakers trail by six with 1:25 left.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

Clarkson scored at the rim again to reach 18 points with 7 assists and 6 boards.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 29, 2015

Hey Lakers fans, Nets are an example of a franchise that has mortgaged their future and an eighth seed at best. We don't want that.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) March 29, 2015

FINAL: 107-99, Lakers lose in Brooklyn.

— Serena Winters (@SerenaWinters) March 29, 2015
