The Los Angeles Lakers head into Denver looking to snap a two-game losing streak, which includes a 40-point loss in their last outing to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Star guard Kobe Bryant will be back in action after sitting out one game to rest an achy shoulder. Bryant had been putting up some impressive numbers recently, and if he can continue to perform at a high level, Los Angeles will have a real shot at getting their fifth win of the season.
Denver will be without rookie Emanuel Mudiay, so we will have to wait a little longer to see D’Angelo Russell go head to head against his point guard rival. Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari will also be out, which means the Lakers will focus their defensive efforts on slowing down Kenneth Faried, who torched the Lakers for 28 points (a season high) when the two teams faced off on November 3rd.
