The Los Angeles Lakers are heading into their matchup with the Houston Rockets on Thursday night in search of something that has eluded them up to this point: a winning streak. Los Angeles easily took care of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday in what turned out to be the most exciting, highlight-filled game of the season for Lakers fans. The win was an especially welcome surprise considering the Bucks had just snapped the Golden State Warriors 24-game winning streak.
However, getting a win against the Rockets will prove to be a difficult challenge. Houston will be motivated to snap their own two-game losing streak and when the two teams played on Sunday, the Rockets trounced the Lakers, 126-97.
