The Lakers traveled to Minnesota on Tuesday to begin their three game road trip against the Timberwolves. The Lakers are reeling as of late, losing six straight games. Although Pau Gasol will miss the road trip, Steve Nash, Steve Blake, and Jordan Farmar all returned Tuesday for the purple and gold.

First Quarter:

Welcome back Steve Nash! His first shot in months falls right through from 16-feet out. #GoLakers

Watching Steve Nash throw alley-oops is fun. He has 4 assists already, LAL down 16-15 early.

Second Quarter:

Steve Nash just swished a 3. He certainly didn't forget how to shoot.

Another triple, this one from Wesley Johnson, cuts the margin down to 16 points. Manny Harris has drained 3 straight jumpers.

Really a great play in transition from Manny Harris, who drove through 5 Wolves and converted a tough and-1 in 4 seconds. 68-52 MIN at half.

Third Quarter:

THE LAKERS HAVE CUT IT TO 10. LOOK OUT, WORLD.

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) February 5, 2014

A Johnson block on one end leads to a layup on the other, w/Nash getting his 9th dime. LAL down 75-65 w/Young shooting 2 FT's out of the TO.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) February 5, 2014

Manny Harris, whose 2nd 10-day contract is about to run out, is now 6 for 6 in this game to lead LAL with 16 points.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) February 5, 2014

Manny Harris continues to play well, stripping Mbah a Moute at the rim and tossing an alley-oop to Johnson on the other end.

Fourth Quarter:

BACK DAT SWAG UP

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) February 5, 2014

#SwaggyP sinks his third triple of the game to give him a team-high 22p off the bench. The Lakers trail 100-91 w/5:54 left.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) February 5, 2014

#Mannywood

— Lakers Nation (@LakersNation) February 5, 2014

The Lakers rally falls short as Minnesota comes away w/a 109-99 victory. Young had a team-high 24p off the bench, while Harris had 19p, 8r.
