The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a ten game losing streak when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, and in doing so, avoided setting a franchise record for consecutive defeats. On Thursday night, they look to win two in a row for the first time in just over a month, with Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans standing in their way.
Kobe Bryant had a turn-back-the-clock performance against the Wolves, going for 38 points and leading the purple and gold to victory. The Lakers won’t be able to count on those kind of performances from Bryant every night though and with his status for each game perpetually up in the air, the young players will have to continue growing and stepping up if they are going to win more games.
