The Lakers were back in action Sunday afternoon to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The last three games have been a defensive struggle for the Lakers. The Lakers have allowed their opponents to score an average of 136 points over that span, and were looking to provide a better showing on the court against the team with the NBA’s best record. The Lakers made a change in their starting lineup and sent Kent Bazemore to the bench in favor of Ryan Kelly, who was coming off his first career double-double. Check out the highlights below:

First Quarter

Lakers-Thunder will be shown on ABC once Heat-Bulls game (currently in OT) ends. OKC leads 11-10 after a Meeks 3-point play.

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 9, 2014

A good, tough finish from Meeks despite contact from Hasheem Thabeet – the NBA's tallest player – tied the game at 19 at the 4:27 mark.

Second Quarter

Robert Sacre actually dunked. Last time he tried to dunk, he was called for an offensive interference. #TheFuture

Nice layup by Ryan Kelly. Lakers need more though.

It's a 15-2 run for the Lakers. Jodie Meeks capped it with a corner 3, his second in the past minute, book-ending a Johnson and-1 layup.

Third Quarter

Jodie Meeks deserves another commercial after that move.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) March 9, 2014

Jodie Meeks is ON FIRE. A career-high 36 points for the Lakers G with under 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter vs Thunder. Game on ABC.

Fourth Quarter

Farmar sinks his 3rd triple of the game to give the Lakers their biggest lead at 95-77. Timeout OKC. #GoLakers

— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 9, 2014

Jodie Meeks ups career high to 42 points. Last Laker other than Kobe to score 40 points? Andrew Bynum on 1/21/09. Before that? Shaq in 03

Great pass from Marshall to Gasol ends Thunders' 10-0 run

— janis carr (@janiscarr) March 9, 2014

A big 3 from Bazemore was countered by a big 3 from Jackson. LAL lead at 5, 1:40 to play.
