Following their unusual win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, the Lakers were in action again Friday. Steve Nash celebrated his 40th birthday, and the Lakers hoped to celebrate their second straight win despite their limited lineup. The Lakers entered the game with a record of 17-32. Check out the highlights below:

First Quarter

Wes Johnson with a great block in the post on Thaddeus Young. Lakers down seven, though, midway through the 1st.

Second Quarter

Jordan Hill looking pretty spry out there after missing the game on Wednesday. Two dunks already and the Lakers are down 7.

It’s fun to watch @SteveNash play basketball.

Back to back triples and the Lakers are suddenly down just three with 20 seconds left in the 2nd.

Third Quarter

Wesley Johnson has 2 steals and 3 blocks, helping off the ball, and an All-Canada hookup from Nash to Sacre put LAL up 68-67.

Some amazing Steve Nash. Behind the back pass to Wesley Johnson for the three. Lakers up 71-70 w/ 7:20 left in 3rd Q

Steve Nash is really giving it to Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Wroten tonight. Has 14 points on 7 of 12 FG's plus 5 assists.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) February 8, 2014

Back to back scores from Marshall and the Lakers have built a 4-point lead with 3:34 left in the 3rd. http://t.co/gfLaCFy1X9

Fourth Quarter

LAL open their biggest lead of the game at 100-90 after Kaman found Hill for a dunk, then hit a 19-foot jumper himself. 6:41 to play.

— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) February 8, 2014

That was quite a pass by Chris Kaman to Wes.
