After an 85-70 win over the Golden State Warriors in San Diego, the Los Angeles Lakers return to Staples Center to host the Portland Trail Blazers. With Kobe Bryant (leg bruise) possibly being shut down for the final two preseason games, head coach Byron Scott will have an opportunity to evaluate his players as roster cuts near. For the second consecutive game, D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Anthony Brown, Julius Randle and Roy Hibbert were named starters.
