The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Sacramento Kings in their fifth preseason game in Las Vegas. The Lakers are coming off their first win of the preseason, a 126-83 demolishing of Israeli team, Maccabi Haifa. Meanwhile, the Kings are an impressive 3-1 so far, including a win over the San Antonio Spurs. The Kings will be without star DeMarcus Cousins, who has the night off to rest and Lakers guard Marcelo Huertas will once again be sidelined by hamstring issues. With roster cuts looming, the young Lakers will look to prove to head coach Byron Scott that they deserve a place on the team.
