Laker great Earvin “Magic” Johnson sold his share of the Los Angeles Lakers to Doctor Patrick Soon-Shiong, a long time Laker fan and season ticket holder.  Owner Jerry Buss said the move was a business decision, and that Magic will never be separated from the Los Angeles Lakers.  The dollar amount of the deal has not been released, but the bottom line is— Magic Johnson no longer has shares in the Lakers.  The legendary Earvin “Magic” Johnson will be missed, but we have to welcome Dr. Soon-Shiong to the Laker family.
