Matt Barnes May Participate in Vegas Pro League

Impact Basketball, an elite training center, will launch their own basketball league in September. The teams in this league will consist solely of professionals, nearly 70 NBA players will join alongside plenty of stars.

Although rosters are still being put together, Los Angeles Lakers’ forward Matt Barnes may be one of the players to join the league since he has strong connections with Impact Basketball.

Founder and head trainer of Impact Basketball, Joe Abunassar, said two games will be played each day and that the league will last two weeks long.

With the NBA lockout expected to keep the Association away for a while, this Vegas league will allow players to stay in shape and continue to work toward bettering themselves. Matt Barnes is still working to get his knee back to 100%, and the more basketball he plays the faster it will fully heal.
