The Cleveland Cavaliers have been as active as any team heading toward the NBA trade deadline on Thursday. Cavaliers had their sights set on adding a stretch four to the roster with Ryan Anderson, Kyle Korver, and Channing Frye rumored to be trade targets.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, the Cavaliers were able to acquire one of the three forwards the team was targeting on Thursday. Although Frye was being pursued by multiple teams before the deadline, Cleveland was able to get a deal done:

Along with Anderson Varejao heading to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Cavaliers have also included Jared Cunningham in the three-way deal. Cunningham will be sent to the Orlando Magic via Amick:

With the Cavaliers landing one of their trade targets in Frye, it’ll be interesting to see if the team is done making deals before the deadline on Thursday.

There’s been a lot of speculation about the future of Kevin Love in Cleveland with the team rumored to be considering sending the forward elsewhere. The team has denied any interest in trading Love, but the rumors persist as the deadline approaches. The 27-year-old forward may still be in play with teams almost certainly calling to gauge whether Cleveland is willing to part ways with the three-time All-Star.
