After days of discussion, the Los Angeles Clippers finally acquired head coach Doc Rivers’ son, Austin from the Boston Celtics. With the Clippers having a crowded backcourt, they are also expected to waive former Laker, Jordan Farmar according to ESPN’s Marc Stein:

With the Clippers adding Rivers, there were rumors that the team was interested in trading Farmar to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Ramon Sessions. After struggling this season as Chris Paul’s backup, Farmar will look for a better opportunity.

This past off-season, Farmar decided to sign with the Clippers after the Lakers were hoping to sign LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. After playing overseas, Farmar wanted to remain in Los Angeles with his family.
In 36 games for the Clippers, Farmar averaged 4.6 points and 1.9 assists in 14.7 minutes.
