The NBA released its jersey sales for the 2012-13 season, and NBA.com writes that Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant had the fourth highest sales. New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony topped the list, becoming the first player from the franchise to come in first place since the rankings were first released in the 2001-02 season.

The top five jersey sales are as followed:

1. Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks

2. LeBron James, Miami Heat

3. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder

4. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers

5. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls

Dwight Howard came in at number 12 in his first season with the Lakers and as a team, the Lakers were the third most popular in terms of merchandise sales. The rankings are based on sales from the NBA Store in New York City and NBAStore.com from Nov. 12 to present.
