NBA News: Lakers’ World Peace Thinks “Steve Curry” Is Great

Denver Nuggets v Los Angeles Lakers - Game SevenLast night after the Warriors impressive 100-91 victory, Lakers forward Metta World Peace tweeted his thoughts about guard Stephen Curry and his great play.

Problem is, World Peace didn’t seem to know what Curry’s first name was when he tweeted this:

Curry gets the #Twinhearts co sign I think Steve Curry is Top 10 in the NBA. If he works on his defense , he will be MVP next year.

— Metta World Peace (@MettaWorldPeace) May 9, 2013

Unfortunately for World Peace, “Steve Curry” is Stephen Curry and since the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs he’s stepped up his Twitter presence.

World Peace didn’t play in the Lakers final game of the season due to a cyst on his knee and is a candidate to be amnestied in the offseason. Regardless, World Peace is a true character and hopefully we get more incorrect tweets to poke fun of him.
