When LeBron James returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers this past off-season, the franchise eventually acquired Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves and became instant favorites to win the NBA Finals. While the Cavaliers struggled earlier in the season, they are now firing on all cylinders as the playoffs quickly approach.

While the Cavaliers recently clinched a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, LeBron is ‘frustrated’ with Love’s inability to fit in according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News:
But several sources close to the situation in Cleveland claim that James has tried to make it work but that he’s frustrated by Love’s inability, and in some ways unwillingness, to get with the program.
Last month, LeBron went to Twitter to share his thoughts and initially denied the tweet was about Love. However, the two-time champion later confirmed it was a reference to Love:
Stop trying to find a way to FIT-OUT and just FIT-IN. Be apart of something special! Just my thoughts

While there are conflicting reports, Love has a player option and can become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming summer. Although the chances are slim and free agency does not begin until July 1, the Lakers are projected to have $28 million in cap space and will be able to offer Love a max contract.
With 12 games remaining in the season, the Lakers are focused on evaluating their roster, especially their young prospects. In perhaps the most important off-season in franchise history, the Lakers will have ample cap space and potentially four draft picks to take the next step in their rebuild.
