NBA Rumors: LeBron James More Likely To Leave Than Carmelo Anthony?
[new_royalslider id=”298″]

With free agency underway, the Los Angeles Lakers have already met with Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James’ agent. While most believed Anthony would be the star likely leaving his team this summer, it appears that has changed according to ESPN’s Marc Stein:

Despite losing in five games to the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s Finals, most assumed James would remain in Miami especially after the Big Three all opted out. The thought process was that they would all take pay cuts once again in order to sign another high-caliber player like Anthony or Pau Gasol. However, James and Chris Bosh are reportedly seeking max contracts.

While James has been extremely quiet during this free agency, his agent has already met with numerous teams including the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Houston Rockets. All teams are intriguing destinations and it appears James may actually leave in pursuit of winning more championships.
