One player from last year’s roster that has a lot of to prove coming into 2015-16 NBA season is veteran guard/forward Nick Young. The man also known as “Swaggy P” had a forgettable season last year that put his future with the Los Angeles Lakers in doubt.

Fortunately, Young has made quite an impression throughout the preseason, and his improved play hasn’t gone unnoticed. The veteran sixth man played well in the win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night with Young scoring 10 points in 12 minutes off the bench.

Along with talking trash to reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry, who hit four three-pointers against the Lakers, Young added one of his classic four-point plays in the 85-70 win over the defending NBA champions. Young couldn’t help but call himself “the king of the four-point play” in the postgame interview, and few can dispute that as he seems to have perfected the art over the years.

Following the win over the Warriors, the Lakers will head back home to face the Portland Trail Blazers in the second-to-last preseason game for Byron Scott’s squad.
